OUTRAGE...This no doubt is how people most everywhere classify the massacre in France. And they are correct. Regardless of the outrageous provocations provided by the cartoonists and their intentional insults aimed at Islam and its adherents, the retaliation was wrong by any measure you wish to use, regardless of your position in the world. From my perspective I will ask a question or two, but I dont really expect any coherent answers. Aside from Mohammad, Islam recognizes Jesus the Christ as a prophet as well, although he apparently ranks a little or a lot below Mohammad depending upon whom you consult. None the less Christ and his life are secure within the Quran and the Hadith and Commentaries of Islam. Also his parables are well known within Islamic thought. The one that springs to mind for me is turn the other cheek. Obviously, this is not part of mainstream Islamic thought or it would always be part and parcel of all pronouncements from the Muslim clerics world wide. So the question remains, is there any permissible thought or action by anyone anywhere that says or implies that Mohammad or Allah is less than perfection personified. If not then all the world has a problem...Now on the other side of the coin...you just knew there had to be one, did you not? ...We have continued attacks on the rights and freedoms of all people in all places by countries like France, the UK, and Israel and above them all in terms of sheer audacity and the abrogation of all human rights, the USA along with its partners in crime., my own country Canada and all members of the NATO alliance. There can be absolutely no denying this. None, and no justification can ever be made for any of the actions whether it be bombing in the Balkans or drone attacks from Yemen through to Pakistan. Dead is dead IMO and the vast majority of deaths and torture, the overwhelming examples of the attacks on free speech and thoughts have been made by western nations, once again led by the USA...The entire world needs reshaping, not by religious zealots nor by puppet masters intent on world domination. The shackles that bind you as individuals are of your own making, even though you think you are free, you sink lower and lower held captive merely by your inertia. Get up off your asses and stand for something or die like the slaves you have become. Speak out against all outrageous acts big and small and accept nothing short of complete surrender...Thanks for reading now get writing and calling and doing something
