Magic is now chained to garage and/or chained in the garage or basement of his owners dwelling! Here is excerpt of the letter from a complainant: Thank you to everyone out there calling, texting, emailing and even driving by to help Magic, the chained and neglected Cane Corso. Many of you want to know WHY I am taping what is going on, and not helping him. I did that six months ago when he was chained in the sleet and snow. The SPCA showed up but were not interested in helping. Did you know that chaining your dog in a basement with no electricity and no water all winter long is not illegal in Cincinnati? Thats what the SPCA told myself and a dozen concerned neighbors when the owner went to jail. About every ten to fourteen days family would stop by and give the dog a large bag of dry food. He didnt see the outside for close to six months. ~~~ We encourage advocates to contact SPCA of Cincinnati to politely request an investigation of this property and the living conditions for Magic. The dog is on a leash that is tied to a tree trunk. It has about 3-4 feet of slack. We had a high of 91 degrees and thunderstorms since 5p.m. That will continue all night. He has no shelter except to lean against the tree. It is awful. He has barked for 24 hours non stop. Magic is 2.5 years old. very friendly cane corso. He is chained 24/7 on a 3 ft. chain. Yes he is sweet. He is intact but still a puppy attitude, very friendly. Has grown up with lots of young kids. The yard is fenced in on 3 sides but not across the front...you can go straight from the sidewalk to the dog. They leave and go away all day long. He could go missing at night since he may chew thru his nylon leash he is tied to. Magic will jump in your lap. Loves food. He is well hidden by a privacy fence and all homes back up to a large woods, and there is so much chaos in that e house they do not hear a word. The kids leave for school at 7 a.m. The house is behind Little Flower Church on a dead end street. They are the 3rd house on the left. We are 2 miles south of Northgate Mall.
