OVER 30 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE AND CURRENCY SEIZED DURING TRAFFIC STOP McFarland: On 12/21/14, at approximately 1444 hours, Officers with the MPD were on routine patrol and stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed the subject had Methamphetamine and paraphernalia on his person. Officers later searched the vehicle and located more suspected Methamphetamine, paraphernalia, including scales. Some of the Methamphetamine was individually wrapped. Officers also located a large amount of currency. After the investigation and interviews with the suspect, it was determined the narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia, and currency, was consistent with narcotics sales. The Methamphetamine weighed approximately 30 grams. Officers arrested 30 year old Adrian Lopez of Delano for charges of H&S 11379, H&S 11377, and H&S 11364.
