OVER 900 STRONG! Thanks to everyone for their support. The work of preservationists is never complete. We learned tonight from Tuscaloosa Neighbors Together that "the 2600 project will have to before the Planning Commission for a recommendation on the re-zoning of part of the property + the downtown overlay plan. Then both will go before the City Council for final approval. The project is not slated to be on the July Planning Commission Agenda. This is a lot of time to sway the developer and the City Council about historic preservation." Please keep checking back daily to see any new developments we and our fellow members post!
