OVERNIGHT PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION at the Alton YWCA! Saturday, January 25, From 10pm until 2am (Later if Needed) E-mail us at [email protected] or call (618) 340-5526 for information or reservations. The St. Louis Paranormal Research Society presents this event to aide in the “Help Save the Alton YWCA” campaign. This is a vital charity for the Alton community, which provides much needed assistance for those who would otherwise have to do without. For decades the paranormal activity of the Alton YWCA has been kept a strict secret. There are 3 elusive ghosts; are all cognitive, not residual. We know one is a Non Caucasian Male (Possible a runaway slave); one is a Woman, and the other we do not know what it is. The Alton Y.W.C.A. does run two day care programs in this building. The female ghost is often found in these two areas. The male ghost is found in the basement, where an Underground Railroad slave tunnel once ran. The tunnel is still under the street. This ghost has a reputation for making himself known to unsuspecting visitors to his basement. The unknown ghost is found in the attic. During a meditative session held during our last YWCA event on June 8. The unknown ghost purposely gave deceptive and misleading answers in order to prevent us from figuring out who it was. It is an unwritten rule among the Alton YWCA staff members that no one goes to the attic or the basement by themselves. This is a huge labyrinth of a building, well maintained, with beautiful woodwork, climate controlled, numerous restrooms, easy to get lost in, and plenty of places to hide. A well lit staging area, with tables, chairs, and plenty of power outlets that can be used to setup and recharge equipment will be provided. There will also be a strict quite area, with comfortable lounge chairs, couches, and tables, to allow review and sharing of your evidence on site. You can use your own ghost hunting equipment or borrow some of ours. This event caters to all levels of experience. The overnight investigation will be held on Saturday, January 25th. The event will start at 10pm and last until to 2am (Later if needed). The cost is $35 per person. If interested please e-mail us at [email protected], for payment information.
