OVERTHROW OF THE HEIR TO THE KINGDOM Genesis 49:1-28 Is it - TopicsExpress

OVERTHROW OF THE HEIR TO THE KINGDOM Genesis 49:1-28 Is it unjust to transfer the heir to the estate of a man to another person? Put in another way, is it fair for a man to transfer the two fold blessings attached to the position of the first born to another child? Is it just for the father of a house to jump the first son and give the mantle of leadership to the second son? These questions are necessary because in my extended family, the mantle of leadership was transfer to the fourth born. When the head of the family was still alive, he changed the usual method whereby the first born is heir to the kingdom. The first born was suppose to step into the shoes of his father at the fathers death. The firstborn was suppose to inherit double of the fathers estate but many first born are denied this right. The reason many of the first born lose their blessings is because they are not responsible enough to lead the family. This was what happened in Genesis 49:1-11. In verse 9-10, The blessings of the firstborn was transferred to Judah with these words Judah, shall your brothers praise, your hand on the neck of your enemies, the sons of your father shall bow down to you.Judah is a lion cub, you have grown up on prey, my son.He crouches, lies down like a lion, like a lioness - who would dare rouse him.The scepter shall not depart from Judah or the mace from between his feet. Ruben was denied this right because he was unstable as water. That is, he cannot take firm decision. The second reason was that he slept with his fathers wife. Some firstborn sell their right like Esau in Genesis 25:29-34.Esau sold his birthright for a plate of porriage. He transferred it to Jacob without realizing it. The devil destroys many firstborn because they are the first fruits of a mans labour. Many firstborn are drunkard, useless, mad with expectations of inheritance and irresponsible that they losse it.Many are not trustworthy enough to assume the leadership role of the family. Ezekiel 18:25-28 -The word of God says God is not unjust to transfer the heir of the kingdom to another person.Your actions determines your position. In Matthew 21:28-32 The boy that did his fathers will, will receive the inheritance of the firstborn. Joseph was the youngest but became firstborn. This is the same with David in 1Samuel 16:1-13. Declare with me today, my position is not for sale. I will not transfer my responsibility to another. I will not loose my heir to the kingdom in Jesus name Amen. Believers are adopted sons of God.Jesus is the only begotten son of God . Galatians 3:25-26 for we are all sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ.Galatians 4:1-7 explains that we are not slaves that are not heirs to the kingdom but sons who are being trained to take over from their father.Verse 6 and 7 calls us sons of God His children. Romans 8:1-15 - Those led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. Prayer Point Pray that you will possess your possession.
