OWOSSO - Owosso High School Just Held Its Tenth Annual Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast!! Students enrolled in the OHS Culinary Arts class applied the skills they have been learning in the classroom during the Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast. Culinary Arts Teacher Hannah Poyner,involved students in food preparation and planning, the banquet set-up, serving, and clean-up. Kaleb Holwager is pictured plating and serving a hearty, delicious breakfast to a guest. Spreading holiday cheer is the best part of this annual event. Each year, Santa takes a break from his Christmas preparations to visit guest at the Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast. Owosso High School students play an important role in the Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast. Students volunteer as hosts and hostesses to serve beverages, assist guests while they go through the food line, and enjoy interacting with the guests. Guests at this year’s Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast enjoyed the talents of the Owosso High School Madrigals, the OHS Jazz Band, and the OHS Symphony Band. Band Director Ms. Jillian Schlegel is pictured welcoming guests and introducing the OHS Symphony Band.
