OWOSSO - REALITY AND PERCEPTIONS DONT ALWAYS COINCIDE! Reality is that if you park your vehicle in the parking lot at Main St. and Washington St. you can walk to almost any store in the downtown and not walk any further than if you parked in the middle of the Walmart Parking lot and walked in and bought a gallon of milk. I measured it out this afternoon and found that after parking in the center of Walmarts lot I walked approximately 910 feet to get a gallon of milk. The blocks downtown are approximately 300 in length. Thus buying a gallon of milk at Walmart and walking from the center of the lot to the milk is about 3 blocks and all most everything downtown is within 3 city blocks. It doesnt sound like parking is an issue in Owosso since there is a parking lot within a block of virtually any store. Fact is you can normally park within a hundred feet of any store. So Walk Less & Enjoy More Shopping In Downtown Owosso!
