OYE VEHHHH .... FB ..... GUYS & DOLLS .... In the last 3 days The Writers Collective Of India - our Page have traversed, more or less, end to end of Delhi NCR ... ceaselessly taking forward our Reviews & Explorations ..... in order, we hope, to be able to give YOU better choices. On Wednesday, I7th December, at 4.30 pm, we were at a High Tea hosted by LOpéra Salon de Thé, where we met Mr.Kazem Samandari, (Chairman); Mr.Laurent Samandari, (Managing Director), and Mr.Masud Samandari (Director - MARCOM) of French Bakery Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates 9 Outlets of the LOpera-India Brand. To say that my colleagues and I were totally floored by the ambiance, the quality of what we ate and drank, the warmth of the welcome and the sheer hospitality would be putting it very mildly. TWCI has been promised a closer interaction and I hope to bring YOU a story of the sheer passion that drives this Brand and makes it commercially successful .... On Thursday, I8th December, at 3.30 pm, we were at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Sector-12, Gurgaon, in order to curate the splendid INAUGURAL SUNDAY BRUNCH @ THE ROOFTOP BAR-BE-QUE POOLSIDE, which kicks off on the 2Ist. We were with Mr.Sunil DSouza (General Manager). Chef Sudipta Mukherjee (Executive Sous Chef) and Sandeep Sodha (F&B Manager). We came away totally satisfied that what we have to offer on the 2Ist will be truly mind blowing. Today, Friday, I9th December, we were at Lunch, at I.30 pm, at The California Boulevard in Rajouri Garden and I, a confirmed South Dilli Waala, was so blown away with what we ate and drank, that I am still trying to figure out why we have not gone to Rajouri / Punjabi Bagh more often...or, indeed, why the peeps from that part of Delhi, need ever visit Outlets in South or Central Delhi. We also had the pleasure of meeting the effervescent Ms.Kanchan Hiranandani, who heads PR and MARCOM for Bright Hospitality. If there is something that my colleagues and I have gathered it is that there is no lack of Vision and Passion in all sorts of places in Delhi NCR, which is fuelling and driving a Food Revolution of sorts ....
