Oak & Thorn presents: Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas Crown Hall, Mendocino, Friday November 14 No-host bar open from 6:30 PM; concert starts 7:30 Alasdair Fraser, long regarded as Scotland’s premier fiddle ambassador, and the amazing young California cellist Natalie Haas have developed one of the most exciting musical partnerships in the world. Audiences throughout the USA, Canada, and Europe are thrilled by dazzling teamwork, driving, dancing rhythms, and their shared passion for improvising on the melody and the groove of Scottish tunes. Their four CDs are stunning masterpieces, and their live performances are breathtaking displays of musical magic. Two years ago, they performed at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg; this time, they will be at the much more intimate Crown Hall in Mendocino. This will be a benefit concert for Mendocino County Public Broadcasting (KZYX).
