Oakland Raider fans have been through one hell of a lot. However, the RaiderNation is unique in the sports world. No point in trying to explain in detail but many of the fans we know at the stadium come in costume and so we have never seen their face. Everybody has a nickname. I am Raider M and my son Travis is just T. So we know them, shared all of the camaraderie that goes with this kind of fun but dont know what they look like. They are our friends. No point in trying to explain the importance of winning a football game because you wont understand if you are not a part of it. But it is awesome. Al Davis created the term RaiderNation to refer to this experience. When I hear Patriots Nation or Cowboy Nation or others, I just smile. There is something awesome about being good friends, sharing high fives, and laughing with people that you have never seen. There is also something awesome about being known as a letter. We ARE the men (and women) in Black....Silver and Black to be precise. Go Raiders!!
