Oaklie ... 12/07/2014 ... 700am Weve had a great week ... Oaklie had her 3rd treatment of 24 in her 2-year maintenance period on last Tuesday, December 2nd ... It went really good!!! ... No issues until yesterday morning when she had a little bit of leg pain ... which is a side effect of the vincristine chemo drug that she had on Tuesday. But all that leg pain went away quickly once she woke up and got going ... That is because Oaklie and Patti or Shug were going with Oaklies cousins Gracie and Isabelle and then mine and Pattis niece and nephew Tricia and Jim to see Mary Poppins, a musical, at the Springer Opera House in Columbus, Ga yesterday!!! Patti said she did really good at the 3-hour show, but she really livened up when the songs, Supercallafragilisticexpealidocious and A Teaspoon of Sugar were sung ... Patti said she sat in her lap and just clapped and just started singing those songs!! ... That is probably because I taught her the Teaspoon of Sugar song back when she was trying to take the BAD Tasting medicine called Flagyl earlier this year ... Patti said I sung that song it so angelically ... Bahahaha!!! ... That post back at the end of May and then on June 1st about Mary Poppins Teaspoon of Sugar song is still on my timeline ... I checked it out after Patti told me about O yesterday ... Seeing O sing those songs was such a sweet gift from God after those hard times of trying to get that medicine to go down!!! And then I thought how amazingly God works His Plan in this world ... I immediately thought of this Bible verse: Romans 8:28 NIV [28] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
