Obama: Here is your wake up call. Russia already bought their way back into Cuba with $30+ billion in debt relief this past September. Castro will not (and Putin will not allow Castro to) break Cubas alliance with Russia: SO STOP DEALING WITH CASTRO! The net effect (if Congress doesnt stop you cold in your tracks) is that Castro will get better terms from Russia, not that the Castros are going to adopt democracy and free elections and see the merit of not murdering and repressing their own people and those of other countries. They were murdering and jailing political dissidents first-hand while you were still in diapers. Its simply ridiculous that the US would play into the Castros money-grubbing, blood-stained hands without a second thought despite (1) their 55+ year reign of terror in Cuba, (2) their status to this day as a State Sponsor of Terrorism according to the US Department of State, and (3) their occupation of Venezuela right underneath your nose. Russia is building military bases in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua... a deal brokered by the Castros.
