Obama Visits,India Arrives This is History happening NOW. First US President ever to be the chief guest for our Republic Day. 3rd meeting within 6 months,between Narendra Modi & Barak Obama. Its rare & meaningful that US President visits India but not Pakistan in the same tour of the Indian subcontinent. US foreign policy used to hyphenate India-Pakistan,lending a sort of parity to India & Pakistan. That hyphen is off. Now its Af-Pak. India has a stand alone position in US world view,though Pakistan backing,funding still goes on. Points to watch are:- Indo-US Nuclear Deal, investment proposals & Obama speech. I am curious to know how China reacts to this visit. All in all,this is a major,almost radical,turning point in Indian foreign policy. Obama visits India. India arrives to occupy its rightful place in the new world order.
