Obama clearly was all about change. I dont happen to like his changes. Since the Senate is close to my heart, I particularly dont like the change he allowed Senator Harry Reid to proceed with: for the first time in our history we have a nuclear Senate. This means the minority is not being heard. America was one of the few countries that, even though a majority belonging to the same party could occupy all 3 branches of government, the minority still had a chance to be heard. I dont want to change things my way without hearing the minority. I dont want to be King of the Senate. It is likely the Republicans will be the majority in the Senate soon. As a Republican, I would vote to return the Senate to its Constitutional state immediately (even though the Democrats are okay with the Senates current state because they get everything they want while the minority goes unheard). I would also push to have any judge who was appointed while the Senate was nuclear go through the process again. As judges they, more than anyone, should have wanted to abide by our Constitution when being appointed into their positions.
