Obama has repeatedly ruled according to his own preferences rather than, and in direct opposition to, the rule of law. All joking aside, Obama rules as a de facto dictator. He is a tyrant. When a judge ruled that oil companies could resume drilling in the gulf, Obama ruled otherwise. When Congress voted against the Cap and Trade legislation, Obama ordered the EPA to issue regulations which had the same effect as Cap and Trade would have had it passed. There are too many examples to list all of them here. The latest one happened recently when Obama decided to delay the beginning of a key part of Obamacare. The point about all of this? Obama has no authority to do any of those things. But he uses the power he does have to intimidate anyone who questions him about it. Indeed, the deaths of those who cross him are well known, though not well publicized. Obama is ruling as a King rules: according to his desires. He does what he wants to do, whether the law allows it or not. He is concentrating power in the executive branch of the federal government too, power which the federal government does not legally even have. He is building a civilian army, while drawing down our military forces. Unless the States move to stop him, he will soon be too powerful to remove from office.
