Obama just finished his speech at the Marine Barracks during the memorial for the victims of the the shooting at the Navy Yard. As usual and as expected, he turned it into a political speech in favor of gun control. He barely touched on the fact that the person inflicting the harm was a person who was allowed to do what he did, due to massive failure on the part of the government. The shooter was a man with a long history of mental disturbance and violent behavior, and with that history, the government still granted him a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE. Yet the only answer Obama can seem to get together is one that calls for more restrictions on the freedoms of people who had nothing to do with the violent act. It is quite apparent that restriction totalitarianism and lock down is his solution for everything, not the freedom that this nation was built upon. Obama spoke of honoring the memory of the fallen, but if anything dishonors their service, it is the calls by Obama for limitations on the freedoms these people swore to defend, the freedoms of the Constitution out weigh the calls for it limitation from Obama.
