Obama said, right on national television, that hes delaying his amnesty program until after the next elections. HELLO? How can anybody not understand that if hes worried about it affecting the outcome of the elections, it means that HIS OWN DEMOCRATIC PARTY ISNT GOING TO LIKE WHAT HE PLANS ON DOING!!! Otherwise theres no reason to delay except that what he plans is probably yet another violation of the oath he took AND our Constitution. Im sitting here trying to figure out a way to bypass choosing a political party and still be able to vote in the primaries, and I think its ridiculous that you have to have a party preference to do so. Yet the registration form always has that disclaimer on it, and Im trying to remember if it has always been that way. When I turned 18 and first registered to vote I thought I was a democrat, and registered as one, but I dont like the way either party operates and I think its wrong to have this either/or mandate that provides a sense of security for corrupt political hacks and prevents giving us an actual CHOICE instead of choosing the lesser of two evils as we do now. All the political candidates have to do these days is make sure their opponent appears worse than themselves, when they should both be above reproach to begin with-why are we settling for the bottom-of-the-barrel when it comes to honesty, integrity, and putting the best interests of Americans first? How many decades has it been since well, this one hasnt stolen any more than the previous one, or lied any less, or been caught doing anything he/she couldnt bullshit their way out of WASNT the major factor in deciding who we would vote for? Why are we forced to pick from a pool of corruption based on whos going to do the least amount of damage? This year I have reached my limit of tolerance, period! I cannot in good conscience choose ANY established political party but I am not willing to give up my right to have a voice in choosing those who will be representing my wishes as an American citizen. I need to do some research, some serious in-depth research, about our voting procedures to see if theres a solution Im unaware of, but time is passing quickly and I need to get this in the mail, so I would appreciate any informed insights that can assist with my dilemma. Is there a way to not choose a party without being excluded from participating in some of the election processes?
