Obama will not close the border regardless what the danger is to citizens of the United States. He is so deeply entrenched into his immigration open borders thinking he will sacrifice all of us in order to allow the illegal access from Central America and Mexico to our country. All you have to do is watch the borders and see if there is any laws enacted to close them. And see what Obamas reaction is to those senators and congressional representatives that even attempt to promote legislation to close the borders. It is very apparent that Obama is so myopic when it comes to allowing the illegals in he is not going to allow his agenda, whatever it may be changed regardless of the Obama epidemic. Our only saving grace is the independent Governors of each of the border states especially Texas - Arizona and New Mexico. California is a write off, that state is already lost to the liberals and left wing radical factions. One state Texas and to a lesser extent but still a high one Arizona will become a thorn in Obamas side. Governor Rick Perry of Texas will especially be the biggest thorn since he is a Republican and because there is definitely no love lost between him and Obama. However, Arizona Governor Jam Brewer also a Republican is also no fan of Obama. Between these two individuals lies our hope to partially shut down the southern borders. However, this could cause a Central America and to a lesser extent Mexican, Mariel boatlift style mass emigration on the Gulf states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida. The problems are many and the solutions are few. If we can stalemate Obama for another year with congressional actions and public outcry and protests we may have a chance in the next election to turn this all around. A difficult situation I agree but at least we would have a chance. But in one year the Ebola situation could possible be such a lost cause it would not matter anyway. Rick Buckner
