Obituaries George Crossen (May 16, 1923 - November 6, 2013) Please remember the Crossen family (this is Sharon Whitlocks father). George Crossen George Crossen 90, of Chattanooga passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. George was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, having served in the US Army and retiring from the US Air corp as a Master Sergeant. He had a great love for his country and the American flag. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was preceeded in death by his wife Mildred , a son, George Steven Crossen and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Ann Crossen of Chattanooga; daughters, Diane (Larry) Harville of Winchester, Tennessee and Sharon (Sonny) Whitlock of Ringgold, Georgia; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-7 pm . you may visit our online guestbook @ turnerfamilyfuneralhome The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:30 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Troy Simmons officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pet Placement Center at 5975 Dayton Blvd. Red Bank, Tennessee 37415.
