Obituary: Corris Leona Williams, 91, of Perry, FL, passed away December 20, 2014, at Lafayette Health Care in Mayo. Corris was born September 24, 1923 in Mayo, FL, to Alex Driver and Pearl Driver (Grant). Mrs. Williams was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of Antioch Revival Center in Perry. Mrs. Corris was a special singer in her church, performing many solos over the years. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with her family. Mrs. Williams is survived by her 4 sons Allen Lee Williams, Jimmy Lewis Williams, Ray Williams, and Tony Lee Williams all of Perry; 9 daughters Janie Ruth McCullough of Eustis, Fl, Charlotte Lawson of New Iberia, La, Martha Leona All of Perry, Dorothy Dedge of Wellborn, Fl, Annette Hysmith of Cross City, Fl, Vilite Petty of Athens, Al, Carolyn Thompson of Luraville, Fl, Pearl Denmark of Perry, and Sharon Williams of Perry, Fl; her brother Claude Driver; her sister Sally Mae Primmer; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Pearl Driver and her husband Coy Lee Williams, her brothers R.A. Driver, Edgar Driver, Rayborn Driver, James Driver, and Jack Driver, her half brothers Dalton and Pasco Driver, her sisters Mattie Hyde, Myrtle Schuring and a half sister Pauline Ward. Funeral Services will be held at Antioch Revival Center on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 am in Perry with Pastor Cricket Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Carlton Cemetery in Perry. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry. Memorial contributions can be made to Lafayette Health Care. All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
