Obituary for Joe Scott Cole Jr Mr. Joe Scott Cole Jr., age 90, of Mayfield went home to be with Jesus at 4:46 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Joe was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Mayfield, he was an administrator with the former Fuller-Morgan Hospital, Community Hospital, and Morgan-Haugh Clinic in Mayfield for 43 years. Joe was also a U.S. Army veteran of WWII having served in the Army Medical Corp. Surviving Joe is his only son - Shawn Cole of Mayfield. Joe was preceded in death by his wife – Kay C. Cole, parents – Joe Scott & Hattie Thomas Cole Sr., brothers – Clay Cole and James Cole, and a sister – Wilma Culver. Funeral Services for Joe will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Rev. Gary Frizzell will officiate. Burial will be in the Cole Cemetery in Marshall County. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
