Obituary of John Hanuska Jr. John Hanuska, 91, of Vineland, passed away at home on January 6, 2015. John was born in Trenton, NJ to the late John & Louise Hanuska. He attended Trenton Central High School. After graduation, he served honorably in the United States Army from 1943-1945 with the Combat Engineers in Africa and Italy. John was a member of the New Jersey State Police, retiring as a Staff Sergeant after 23 years of service. He went on to become the Director of Security for National Freight Inc. He was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife Bee (Stern) Hanuska, niece Barbara Capel, nephew & his wife; Joseph & Pamela Trapp, their children, Geoffrey & Evan, sister-in-law Ethel Lubin, niece & her husband; Wendy & Barry Branton, nieces; Nancy Garton & Lorraine Dutta, nephews; Dr Michael Lubin, Richard Spiegel & Leroy Montana, niece-in-law; Maria Wexler, numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins & friends. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Trapp and nephew Wayne Wexler. A Church Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9am to 10am followed by a Funeral Service at 10am with the Pastor Gary Stiegler officiating at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A Private Burial will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Donations in memory of John may be made to: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E.
