Obituary to Rev. Bobby Peyton Chirwa - Pilgrim Wesleyan Church Choma. Who has passed on to be with The Lord today the 14/10/2014 We cerebrate your life The Lord had granted you here on earth servant of God. I first met you at Siachitema Mission 32 years ago. You allowed me to start youth meetings and various charismatic meetings in your churches as a District Superintended then. We ministered the word of God between Pemba and Zimba churches in Southern Province. Prayed for the sick and many were delivered from demons etc. that was a strange doctrine to many wesleyans but you allowed us to do the work of God despite opposition from other church fathers. The revival prevailing in the Wesleyan Churches today emanates from those meetings. Some of the notable children of those meetings to mention but a few are Rev. Jericho Sikwilala, Rev. Friday Siabamba and many more servants of God serving The Lord in various spheres of the Kingdom. At one time you went away from The Lord. We bless The Lord that a couple of years ago you returned back to Him and the church accepted you and The Lord for gave you and have you a fresh start. In July this year I visited my parents and the Holy Spirit prompted me to visit your home. We spoke about the goodness of The Lord and how The Lord had restored you back, little did I know that we were bidding fare well to each other. I prayed for you and encouraged you to continue serving The Lord. Notable things I will forever cherish in your life and ministry is that powerful bible study we started in your home at the Mission house which was attracting several people you allowed me to pick books of study in the bible. Many villagers got served and experienced the power of God. The baptism in the Holy Spirit was freely conducted and in 1984 I met my wife in those meetings. In fact you played a pivotal in my marriage. It is sad that I may not attend your burial, due to distance and other logistics, but will certainly come and see where you will be put to rest. In my closing remarks, I can confidently declare ( MYSRIEP), my Reverend. The Pilgrim Wesleyan Church and indeed the People of Siachitema have lost a gallant soldier of The Lord. We will meet on the other side as the trumpet of The Lord will sound one day. The picture below was taken 30 years ago on one of the weddings you conducted among the youths and youth camp meeting at Siachitema mission.
