Objectives of the WGC Entrepreneurs Breakfast Club The WGC WEB club four advocacies is to create EMPLOYMENT, give assistance for HEALTH, EDUCATION andr sustainable LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS. 1 ) EMPLOYMENT - We would like to open the opportunities for people entering the workforce the opportunity to be EMPLOYED that would be able to guide them to be able to possess the qualities and capabilities to become employers themselves in the future. If the person is a professional such as a lawyer, architect , accountant or even a programmer we would like to be open to being what we call a entrepreneur who is working and enjoying benefits like additional pay and incentives while being part of a bigger firm. We do not choose any particular group of individuals, what we would like to do is to create a pool of individuals who have specific orientation ( experiences ) and qualifications ( either scholastic or talents acquired ) and upload their profile to the website of WGC WEB club ( for free ) so our members of WGC WEB club could view and study these profiles that our group members who are entrepreneurs themselves could employ qualified and competent individuals for employment opportunities. Our programs are simple, to provide an avenue for both labor and management to use the site of WGC WEB to fill up their staff requirements and employ individuals that they think are qualified to help the achieve the corporate objectives and goals. 2) To assist in HEALTH concerns. WGC WEB club has a simple dream of providing health guidance and advocacy. In order that a person could be a productive citizen of our nation and of society, we would like to guide the person to be able to take good care of his/her health conditions. That may give the person the strength and stamina to be able to report for work or do entrepreneurial physical and mental functions that will provide for the person and that of their family. If someone is sickly and unable to accomplish and overcome the rigors of the physical and mental demands of their work how would this person pursue his dreams for a better tomorrow and also of service to others. Imagine a sickly person with weak physic commuting to work everyday, by the time this person reaches the office he/she would be too weak or tired to take up the challenges of his corporate responsibilities and if this person is unable to sustain a good performance would management retain his or even promote this person ? Well Iwe believe this person chances are slim. So in order to be able to perform well in the assigned task, this person should be healthy and be able to sustain the rigors of being part of the workforce and even being an entrepreneur. Our program for health is to have medical practitioners in our WGC WEB. We would like to conduct at least quarterly health trainings and seminars ( materials also to be posted in the websites of wonggroupphils and wonggroupphils.breakfastclub ) together with printing of health materials in our monthly SAM YU CHRONICLES that are in hard copy format and soft copies that are definitely shared to all our 280 club members ( as of october 2013 ) including our tied up organizations with the rotary club of lungsod ng dangal D3780 which has as our chartered president , rtn JC Wong and also to the different chambers that our founder is a member of . ( to site a few, Phil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, American Chamber of the Philippines, Employer Confederation of the Phils, Fil Chinese Business Club, Murdoch Business Club Phil Chapter and others ) together with associations of ngo like lions club, Jaycees and of course our WGC WEB The program activities will be a regular seminars on health concerns with the professional medical practitioners that will be carry out in Quezon city, Makati and Paranaque venues together with other venues that we may have in the future. We will also have a regular free symposium to the communities in Central Luzon area, together with the mountain province ( Cordillera region ) and of our concentration in the caraga region ( agusan and surigao - del sur & del norte ) . 3) EDUCATION advocacy- this is our third advocacy which provides our people the capability to have a fighting chance to be able to improve our lives. The saying goes, EDUCATION IS THE SOLUTION AGAINST POVERTY , is indeed reality. Imagine with knowledge we could improve our lives for a better tomorrow. As such our advocacy of EDUCATION is to be achieved with a twist . We aim to educate the out of school individuals even those who finished formal schooling business tips for entrepreneurial skills from experienced members and officers of WGC WEB subject matters like accounting matters, financial plannings, information & communication technology, experience sharing from the diverse fields of industries that covers from trading, human resource training, business writing, manpower, buy and sell, realty , manufacturing, consumer items, internet business and others. You have to consider that WGC WEB members are of around 278 to 280 of us would comprise from the academe and from the university of hard knox, are familiar with the businesses each one of us are able to survive in years of doing business. As our program will require volunteerism from our members who are willing to share the experiences and knowledge for their industries will be allowed by our screening committee to do free seminars on educational formats, NO HARD SELLING WILL BE ALLOWED to dissuade opportunist to join for the sole purpose of getting business contacts and transactions from my NGO . Seminars and presentations is at least twice a month that will be part of our club meetings in our chosen venues that will be FREE to our members and to our volunteers. WGC Holding Phils will of course shoulder the FREE FOOD ( pinoy almusalan ) and of course the venue as part of our advocacy and our chairman Mr. V A Wong Sr . 4) SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD is the culmination of the first 3 advocacies. After an individual s able to achieve employment to gain the means to purchase what he /she wants to own thru legitimate means together with being able to maintain a healthy body by seeking professional advice from health practitioners and medical experts. In addition once a person is able to pay for knowledge and obtain school of hard knox experience and testimonial education from our WGC WEB members and captains of industry , the individual now is equipped physically and mentally to pursue a higher level of life improvement that will entail psychological, physical and financial challenges in their professional dreams and objectives. Once this individual is able to obtain the requisites to engage in the chosen field of endeavors , these entrepreneurs could create employment to members of WGC WEB club and continue one the cycle of growth and opportunities to our starting members who are moving the path of being employees to entrepreneurs . With the necessary guidance and continuous support by our last advocacy, we hope and fervently pray with actions that our entrepreneur will be successful and open opportunities to others that will qualify our graduate to become now what we call SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS that will further the progress and development of our community growth and individual leveling up towards a better life we all want and deserve. We have programs as we call business matching, financial supports, inventory and service assistance that will give a fighting chance to a start up firm or enterprise to be able to be given initial support to ensure success in their chosen field of endeavor.
