Observation. My neighbor, a corn grower, is switching part of his land to sunflowers to diversify away from corn. The last couple years, the only corn seed available to him is GMO. Before that, there were always quite a few *volunteer* corn plants that came up in the fence-rows and margins of the fields. Now, there are only a very few along the edge of the sunflowers (so they are obviously volunteer, not planted there) I looked to see if they set any *ears*. Only one had an ear and the kernels were stunted and weird... I saw the same thing last year in the plants that came up on my side of the fence. The weeds grew just fine there... just thought Id share that... PS: I still dont think the farmer should be liable for damages incurred when he had no choice but to grow the Crony Corn... lets call it that... #CronyCorn
