Observation/advice for dudes. So many times a man will tell a woman he does not know, that she should smile.it is frequently said innocently (albeit ignorrantly) enough. But here is the problem. The implication inherrant in the statement / request is that the unsmiling woman displeases you. And it would therefore please you to see her smile. This in turn implies that women are there for your pleasure and need to adjust their attitudes accordingly. Its a behavior that should stop. If you would like to see a woman smile, try this. Tell her a freaking joke. Or offer her an act of kindness and respect. How about you try to be a person that inspires smiles in other people instead of demanding them. That strange woman owes you nothing and may be havinbg a hard time in her life. Your demad in her attitude change just made it worse. So maybe just maybe you could think about earning your own happiness. Be someone that people want to smile at. And if they dont.? Its not your day dude. Move on
