Observations for Happy Hollow-een: Thursday Oct 31th - 630am update Mostly Clear morning with Light ENE tradewinds early and filling into moderate 10-20 with a NE tilt. A 0.5 Tide bottoms out at 8am pushing to a 1.4 at 2pm. NORTH: the new WNW peaked at 8 last nite in the dark and now at dawn we see with 3-5 at Sunset Pt with real decent texture so far but Trades likely to have a more NE tilt today for more sideshores later; buoys showing huge fast drop from 8 16 seconds to 4.5 13sec. West: Makaha also down and dropping on the WNW at 2-4. Calm to light Trades and smooth, glassy conditions w offshores later. Town Side: Ala Moana, Kaisers, Kewalos down and holding 0-1.5 maybe 2 from a SSW and real nice just needs size. Diamond Head: Down and Holding a small S-SW at 0-1-2 occas higher, with long waits for the weak 2 footers; semi clean am surf, with mellow bump from the ENE trades. SANDYS: Holding on the SSW & trade swell combo at 1-2; clean conditions. East: Makapuu: Down and Holding small wind swell at 0-1.5 maybe 2 breaking on or near shore and clean due to LightTrades winds and mostly clear skies.
