Observations from a Rambling Vette; Ive been alone for some time, not lonely but alone. I have always felt Id rather live alone than with a bad companion. Even in my livelihood, working, I work well with people; I dont work for them or them me, but if we can work together, working with me and not against me, we can accomplish something much greater than oneselfs achievement. Now that Im getting older, being alone is causing me to rethink this ideology. A reference, the Bible ( Ecclesiastes 5/9-10) comes to mind. Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better. If one falls, the other pulls him up; but if man falls when he is alone, hes in trouble. Also, on a cold night, two under the same blanket gain warmth from each other, but how can one be warm alone? And one standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer; three is even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Peace on You...
