Obsess much? — As I see junk-news ads come through (while researching for good-ness) I find that more and more people are accepting the disconnect. The 99% not only make up majority consumers, but also are increasing the amount of junk-food-news that is filtered through our minds each day. This obsession with the perfect body (especially for celebrities) is driving the main avenue of the media focus of our youth — drowning out the REAL news. Has anyone heard of John Olivers Last Week Tonight - ? Its comedy + truth = brilliance. Where are the real truth-sayers if all must consider themselves COMEDIANS to be heard and known? What are you (as in you) doing to overcome our (as in humanitys) pri·mor·di·al disconnect? Over the years, I have experienced through studying scriptures and bylines and people and factual data... And, an 11-year eating disorder that being obsessed with your physical appearance [or a persons physicality] establishes the breeding ground for narcissism and ego-centric escapism. The opposite and obverse of humility and surrender. — The ego can be known as your enemy or your ally, depending upon how you perceive your current circumstantial reality. The present moment of who you are in life is neither based on circumstance nor desire; rather the ways in how you choose to perceive your self. If you (not only) base your entire being on physical appearance and desirable outcomes but literally obsess over yourself — you will in turn create the life (or lifestyle) equal to that of someone solely focused on selfishness, create the ideal situations that shatter your egoic-world to reveal to you the truth; and demonstrate everything that revolves around your life is merely destructible and insignificant. On the contrary, if youre focused on how you are BEING without obsessing on your physical appearance; but literally USING your physicality to demonstrate service for others; health, wellbeing, gratitude, abundance, prosperity, honor all based on reciprocity... then, you will find something quite marvelous. Take marvel in being the alchemist. Direct your alchemy on serving others. Take pride in your body but obsess over what your body can do for others in essence of humility. The only way WE can see and be the change is if YOU see and be the change.
