Obstacles to God: selfishness Independence pride arrogance God allows crisis in our lives to reach our life to reach our HEART He allows brokenness to reach our lives To reach our heart A broken heart is different from a wounded heart Wounds in our heart we carry and we cover Hide Keep in the dark There is a difference between a wounded heart and a broken heart A wounded heart is infected with pain and hurt For pain to grow in our hearts it has to be fed Wounded hearts have pain and it is infected the broken heart has no resistance to change We give in We give in We give up When our heart is BROKEN WE CAN BE HEALED We give in and give up and take all the fences from around our heart and we allow God in to take away the bitterness pain wounds Hurting people hurt people wounded people hurt people Many People try minister from their wounded lives When they are wounded and people are infected with our infection Our breaking point is when we submit to God In Gods way many times It takes a crisis in our lives to do this Break our heart to reach us with his love and healing Healing takes brokenness A broken heart is a heart that is surrendered Submitted Focused on God Seeking first the kingdom of God Need oriented hearts become Purpose oriented And God heals and transforms out heart and Our lives are changed Forever changed Faith can take us through the times we do not understand Psalm 34:10 Perhaps When God comes back for you No matter how painful it is We shouldnt run We should Kneel We are more than a conquerer through our God Inside us Nothing is too much for him
