Obviously it sets a very, very low bar for Jebbie Boy. The question is just how low can he hope to take us to be worse than his father and even his brother? I think you would have to go all the way back to his grandfather Prescott Bush who tried to overthrow our elected President Franklin D. Roosevelt and install a fascist government in 1933. It is true that Dubya can take a lot of credit for putting us onto the path to his grandfathers foiled ambition, since he (Dubya) did install the Patriot Act to replace our stupid Bill of Rights. But if Jebbie Boy could complete the transition from nominal representative democracy to a formal fascist plutocracy, then he could rap himself in the generalissimo ribbons and medals and declare himself dictator for life--the crowning achievement of the Bush Clan.
