Obviously you are referring to my handpicked post so let me respond and ask you this: who have you beaten to earn a spot? Was there a box-off, tournament? If not, then the fighters were handpicked. I have no problem with this, just dont be going around bragging to folks that you represent the best in the game disrespecting the other fighters who werent invited because they dont have connections to Jimmy Cvetic. Its amazing how people got rubbed the wrong way by what I said, yet they let a 31 year old amateur fighter, Shawn Johnson from New Jersey, talk day in and day out how Pittsburgh boxers couldnt fight, how the city was lame and there was no talent here. Nobody EVER said anything to him—at least to his face anyway, even that dude down at 51 never said anything. Shawn talked so bad about our city and even people from his own gym, yet nobody said a word... accept for me. Remember, I used to train Shawn and when I cut him off—because of his mouth, he became bitter and we became enemies. He and his friend jumped me in the gym one day. Everybody found out about it, and still nobody said anything to him, even the dude whos in charge at 51 never stuck a finger in his chest and rebuked him. He was still welcomed back and his behind was kissed like he was the second coming of Tommy Hearns. Ask them where Shawn is now? Everybody wanted to play neutral or side with him. Thats okay, but before you get in your feelings about my statements, just remember the words and actions of an out-of-towner you chose to ignore. Ive always been kind and respectful to you Mike, I even asked you to spar with my Chris, When you won your last fight I was one of the first ones who congratulated you as you exited the ring. Ive spoken to a few other fighters on your team and wished them well against Team Ireland so its not about hate, but lets keep it in proper perspective: its a Jimmy show, so Jimmys guys got to fight on it, even though some are not the best the city has to offer. Thats really all I was saying. No disrespect to the fighters, but it is what it is.
