Occasionally Dovetail does not have a New Years Eve gig or a date for the prom, as we call it, and for some of them, like last year, we go out of town for a quick overnight break. Last year we went down to Shippensburg and stayed at the Shippen Place Hotel, a really nice place to hang out. They had a young singer songwriter in the bar, and in the dining room they had a three-piece classic rock band named Nixon Pit Crew. We saw most of their first set, and they were a lot of fun!
