Occasionally I like to watch crazy and strange films since I was so long in the film business so I decided to watched the flick called “Warm Bodies” that is currently on IN DEMAND. I love that poster showing on zombie and a human and in between in big white letters on a red background. “He’s Still Dead but He’s Getting Warmer”. I have to say Nicholas Hoult makes a cute zombie and his dialogue is really very funny. No sentences just phrases and a lot of grunting. Of course the story is insane but it is a comedy. Love that plot straight out of Hollywood that reminds me of the 1938 Warner Bros. film called “Boy Meets Girls” which incidentally I watched today on TURNER. A young “corpse” played by Nicholas falls in love with a human girl played by Teresa Palmer. Why does he suddenly fall in love with her. Simple. He ate the brains of Dave Franco. Oy Vey. I have got to say that the film did hold my attention even with bad guy John Malkovich mugged the film to death. Oh he was not a zombie but head of the humans still living on Earth. Surprisingly does not have much gore however the effects are fun to watch. Nope it is not a great flick but just fun to watch.
