Coming this far would not have been possible without the support of everyone here! -Lisa Save Frank & Marjorie Meyers Farm The military will not use a heavy-handed approach in the lead up to demolition at the expropriated Meyers farm buildings. Lt. Col. Danny Breton, 8 Wing Logistics and Engineering Officer told QMI Agency Wednesday CFB Trenton will take a respectful approach when it comes to dealing with former farm owner Frank Meyers. We will be non-confrontational, said Breton. Breton said the same approach will be taken with a group of protestors who have been on site since Sunday. We are recognizing their right to protest, he said. On Tuesday protestors crossed the CN rail line and entered the expropriated property to hang Canadian flags from several of the buildings. Military police did not respond. Those flags are still flying. Protestors were seen walking across the level rail crossing and entering the property Wednesday morning.
