Occupy Wall Street (OWS) began on September 17, 2011, in Zuccotti Park, located in New York Citys Wall Street financial district, and reach Detroit as Occupy Detroit the second week of October 2011. My involvement began in November 2011 and over the course of the past three, my comrades and I have been involved in various educational projects as well as much protest. While protest is very important, education and the creation of an organization of professional revolutionaries with a clear vision of tomorrow is more important. Once a mass movement takes off, if it lacks consciousness and a vision it is steered down one blind alley after another and ultimately is used to uphold the very system being resisted. An organization of revolutionaries is urgently needed to bring vision, strategy and tactics to the class. A spontaneous movement that is going into battle without an under- standing of where society is going, or that a system based on private property can actually end, cannot win. An organization of revolutionaries is needed that is embedded in all of the Fergusons, all of the water, justice and other spontaneous struggles. Such an organization would propagate one common message far and wide about the central enemy and the solution. Rally Comrades! for the last fight we face.
