OceanGrown has gone on a sprout kick! We are intrigued by all the nutritional values each individual sprout gives you, so why not kick it up a notch by adding Oceansolution!? We have decided to start off in the beginners category and chose to do Mung Bean sprouts, a special Lentil, marrowfat, pea, garbanzo and adzukis beans blend, Sunflower greens, a special Spicy salad greens mix and of course more Wheat Grass! They are all extremely simple to grow and they take anywhere up to 2-8 days to harvest. You can grow all of these on your kitchen counter, how awesome is that!? Here are Day one pictures of the first rinsing. We put the mung beans and the special bean blend in mason jars with cheese cloth on top, secure with a rubber band for easy rinsing, and used perlite as a medium on trays for the sunflower greens, spicy salad greens and wheat grass! Filtered water and Oceansolution Home and Garden is all you need to soak the seed. We choose to do a 8 hour soak for all seeds as well as pre soaked the medium with water and OS Home and Garden.
