Oct 12, 2014 - Van Deusenville - The Church. Oh I love playing at the old church. And for the last couple of nights its been filled to the rafters with people from all over the world who have come to participate in our semi-annual fund-raiser for our organizations housed within The Old Trinity Church. Theres a wonderful spirit in the walls of this place which can be felt upon entering. It is a sacred and holy place that goes deeper than the day to day events or decades old transformations of ownership. Our time here is temporary enough as it is, as we are just the currant custodians. So every year I do a few benefit shows to help out. This year was particularly special to me. This note is just a Thank You to all who helped out, the flowers were beautiful, the food was really good, the folks were happy and the spirit was renewed with the voices of people singing together. If anyone reading this is in the neighborhood, come on by and say hello.
