Oct 31, 2007 I wait in hospital getting prepped to have a lumpectomy. I remember the four tiny needles the nurse pulled out of this grey box. She says Im sorry this is going to hurt. After the first needle I realized why the nurse apologized in advance. She delivered four dye injections in my areola. The most excruciating pain EVER!!! Only to find out my markers were not placed in my breast for the surgery. I was sent immediately to the breast center to get my markers and surgery was postponed until Nov 1, 2007. I returned the next day, I had to endure that same pain again in my aroela with tears this time as my mother sat holding my hand with reassurance in her eyes of its ok, youve made it this far, its almost complete. Several hours later I awake in the recovery rm. Mom and my daughter standing beside me ready to take me home. WOWOWOW, that was 6 years ago today and LOOK AT WHAT GOD HAS DONE. MY HEALTH WAS RESTORED, MY BREASTS ARE HEALED! NO CANCER! NO CANCER! NO CANCER!!!!!! BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DONT STOP FOR ME IN OCTOBER, ITS AN EVERYDAY AWARENESS!!!
