October 15, A day to pay tribute to rural women. Space Age Management and Consumer Solidarity System are working together to build a safer and better society for our present and future generations. Rural women are key agents for achieving the transformational economic, environmental and social changes required for sustainable development. Empowering them is key not only to the well-being of individuals, families and rural communities, but also to overall economic productivity. October 15 is International Rural Women Day and Rural women in Pakistan are facing a lot of problems due to lack of awareness. Director Space Age Gul e Zahra Mirza designed a training program to guide rural women about the benefits of Technology which they can gain simply by using their mobile phones. She said if rural women are using mobile technology for communication, they can also use mobile technology to sale their crops, fruits and handicrafts. CSS Secretary General, Noor Mohsin also briefed rural women about health related issues and distributed posters among them to guide them about hygienic way of living through which they can protect themselves and their family from diseases. CSS and Space Age Managements have been conducting such programs from few years and will continue to spread the message for the welfare of our nation.
