October 17th Toshis Penthouse will be hosting an a cappella showcase featuring some of New York Citys finest! Feedback is a New York City group of professional studio singers, producers, and beatboxers who have been seen and heard by millions around the world in music videos, commercials, and on the radio. Now theyre bringing their talents together to create a powerhouse a cappella experience. Founded in 2000, Ten and Change has performed throughout the city at such venues as Arlenes Grocery, The Bitter End, Sidewalk Cafe, Central Park, and won a Battle of the Bands competition at Rockwood Stage 2 this past summer. Singing a mix of a cappella classics, contemporary hits, and a few one hit wonders for good measure, the group is made up of singers from many backgrounds and continues to be one of NYs premier a cappella performance groups. tenandchange Uptown Vocal is Columbia Universitys premier jazz a cappella group. Since 1991, these cool cats have been bringing new and interesting takes on all of your favorite jazz standards.
