October 19, 2013 1.Mini-Super Computer- size to fit in the space just like sugar-cube-2 by 2 centi-meters- .now and coming future ?? 2. 1972, In Taiwan University, In Data Center , ONE CDC 360 super computer occupied a few rooms, let say one hundred feet by 80 feet. 3. 1975-1978, Same size , same type Super Computers ( including IBM main frame) occupied twice more space as shown in item no .2( above). 4. 1980-1982, Huge Super Computer Data center - Down-Town, West-side Manhattan , eight floors high, each floor 120 feet by 12 feet, more or less. 5. 1985-the later years, Super computer with disk, operation /processing and control centers, easily occupied a few floors in the high rise building. 6.1990-2013, The size of super as you know!- i got no ideal!
