October 2013 Goldenage Talentime Best of the Best 黄金年华 斗歌竞芝之群英会 When Mediacorp contacted me to participate in this friendly competition, I was a bit hesitant. What if I got knocked out in the first round? Fear of losing. But then I thought again, hey, no one wins all the time. Just go there, do my stuff & enjoy it. So I agreed. It turned out to be quite meaningful cos itd when I got to know more seniors & came across some very nice pals like Cing Ying Jie (same season as me), Christine Kam , Aida Wong Ai Tai, etc. Also got to see the craftiness of some others including supporters. Expected. Well, it takes all kinds to make the world. Preliminary round (𧘌赛） Song : Farewell Kiss (吻别) Id very very sick as was infected by a terrible bug inherited from a long infected selfish individual in my office. But the show must go on & I simply pushed myself for the Shows Grand Opening & Preliminary round which was 1 day apart. When itd my turn to sing, Id so sick that I just felt like lying down on the stage.
