October 21,2013 ~Devo~ Acts 9:3,4 As he neared Damascus (Saul) on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? (the Lord) - HEAVEN CALLING - I call my children in so many ways. For some, like Saul, a dramatic encounter on a public road was needed. For others, a wooing whisper to the heart is all it takes to bring them into fellowship with me. My sheep know my voice...My call on your life is as absolute as it was on Sauls. Your conversion is just as important to me as his was. I called Saul to give up his life for the sake of my kingdom. I call you to do the same--to give up your life to me and let me give it back in fullness and joy. You were created to go and do amazing things for my kingdom. Heavenly Father, I offer you my heart and life. (Heaven Calling)
