Body Basics Its been said that the root cause of all disease, and also total health, are based on our bodies’ ability to properly process what we take in through our five senses. The things we absorb through our senses can affect us physically, mentally and spiritually. Every cell in our body has its own processing capabilities, but the main site of processing is our digestive tract. Digestion is truly the foundation of good health. There are three main stages in the processing of food. In order to be maximally healthy, each of these stages must be functioning correctly. They are assimilation, digestion, and elimination. I try to eat as close to 630, 1130, and finally 430 in the evening. I want to give my body plenty of time to absorb in my system, digest and be able to eliminate properly. I find if my evening meal is closer to 430, then I dont sweat at night while asleep. If you are sweating your body is burning calories and you are digesting when you should be resting. I used to eat late and it would make my bed soaking wet. Thought that might help somebody out there.
