October 25, 2014 Army, NPA Clash in Bato, Camarines Sur CAMP GUILLERMO NAKAR, Lucena City - Patrolling troops composed of three soldiers and six CAFGU Active Auxiliaries from 42nd Infantry Battalion and 22nd Infantry Battalion (CAFGU) encountered a number of NPAs at Zone 1, Brgy Cristo Rey in Bato, Camarines Sur at 6:10am today, Oct 25. The firefight lasted for three minutes with no reported casualty on both sides. Pursuit operations is ongoing. The encounter is a result of SOLCOMs focussed military operations against the NPA and lawless elements in the region.
