October 25, 2014 #TheEngraftedWord LIFE IS A WAR, MAKE SURE YOU WIN So don’t go to war without wise guidance; victory depends on having many advisers. (Proverbs 24:6, NLT). Life is a battle, and one you must fight and win. There is the battle to be successful. There is the battle of family, relationships, career, jobs, health, finance, etc. Everything about life is a battle. You either win to have good health, or lose to live in sickness. You win to be wealthy and successful, or you to live in poverty the rest of your life. You either win in your relationship battles to be happy, or lose to live in pain and unhappiness. The good news is that Christs death on the Cross has paid the price for our losses. He has won every battle for us both now and in the future. All we need to do is enforce the victory He has given us. The world because of the corruption of sin has been designed to fail and make anyone in it fail. But because we are in Christ, we have a victory that we must consciously enforce everyday. Thats why the bible refers to it as the good fight of faith. How do you live above the failures that life tries to force on you? It is by gaining wisdom. According to the verse of today, wisdom can be gotten from wise guidance and advice. Wise guidance/advice can be gotten from the bible, books, tapes, magazines, and even people. Your pastor is also a good source of wisdom. Wise counsel guarantees victory. When you equip yourself with wisdom before embarking on that business, relationship, marriage, etc, victory is half enforced. Lifes battles are won when we are loaded with wisdom to make it work for our good. Single man/woman, maybe what you need to keep a decent relationship is wisdom. You need to know the basics of how to treat a woman/man like a queen/king. Thats for you to think about. Life is war, make sure you win. Great day my friend. #BeInspired.
