October 28 Found by God Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2, NASB Above anything else in our lives, we must prioritize the building of an intimate relationship with Jesus. I cannot explain with words what it means to be in love with Jesus and to know that He loves me. The joy of beginning a new day with praise on my lips and thanksgiving in my heart is priceless to me. I remember the darkness. On this day in 1975, a Lutheran minister led me to Jesus. The God who was so distant became personal. The One in whom I really didn’t believe became my very best friend. I want to encourage you to become intimate with Jesus. He is all you have on earth, and He is everything in heaven. Whom have I in heaven but Him, or whom desire I in earth besides Him? Oh the fairest among the children of men, the light of the Gentiles, the glory of the Jews, the life of the dead, the joy of angels and saints. My soul longs to be with You! I will put my spirit into Your hands and You will not put it out of Your presence. I will come unto You; for You cast none away that come to You. You came to seek and save that which was lost. You, seeking me, have found me. I desire to be with You and do long for the fruition of Your blessed presence and joy of Your countenance. You are the only good Shepherd.
