October 28: GIVE YOUR 3 MINUTES WORTH TO SAVE THE CREVASSE MORAINE. just received this email from the Mat-Su Borough: This is a courtesy notice that three recreational master plans are now moving forward for approval: matsugov.us/communitydevelopment/crevasse-moraine-master-plan matsugov.us/communitydevelopment/lazy-mountain-rec-area matsugov.us/communitydevelopment/matanuska-river-park-master-plan The first step in the approval process is the MSB Parks, Recreation, and Trails Advisory Board meeting, which will be held: Monday, October 28, 2013; the meeting starts at 5:00 pm although other issues are on the agenda prior (attached) MTA Headquarters (480 Commercial Drive, Palmer, downstairs) Public input, support, and other testimony are welcome – 3 minutes is allowed per person (please sign-up when you arrive) This will be followed by Mat-Su Borough Planning Commision and Assembly consideration – we’ll try to keep you posted.
